Mom's starting stats:
Weight: 220 lbs
BMI: 33 (obese)
Well hello readers! I'd like to start off by introducing myself. I will be going by the name Plump 'n pregnant, very fitting actually. This is my 4th child, I have 3 girls whose ages range from 7-1 1/2. This pregnancy was NOT planned but what can you do. I am blessed enough to be a stay at home mom, and my husband works to support us. I plan to fill this blog with helpful advice that I research, try or have been told to try by my doctors. As you can see by my stats I have posted at the top of this blog, I am considered obese. What a horrible word! I have no disillusions about the effect my weight plays on my health, or that of the baby I now carry. With that said I plan to make this my healthiest pregnancy yet! I do not believe I can lose weight (by dieting), but I plan on exercise and eating healthier to aid in my weight maintenance. On average with my last 3 pregnancies I have gained anywhere from 30-70 lbs. My babies weights were 8.8 lbs, 10.12 lbs, and 8.5 lbs.
Ok, I dont want to make this too long! I know what a bore it can be to have to read through long blogs. Plus I need a cinnamon candy and nap because I dont feel so good. :( Joys of pregnancy!
